Hi folks,
This week I have been going over to Greylock Earth Materials and picking up 1/2 yard at a time of crushed stone. Then shoveling it into buckets and hauling it to the island.
On my last trip to Greylock, Lon asked me if there is a demand on the island for folks to get material barged out to the island.
I said I would check it out.
He said if there is he would look into getting a small barge With a crane to carry 1,000 pound bags of stone/mulch/etc To deliver to the island.
Could folks let me know if I should tell him there is interest?
My email is rclark135@gmail.com.
I know cst is a factor and if there is enough interest I will ask him for details.
At 66 years old now I would be willing to pay a reasonable premium to get material brought to me.
Thanks for your input, miss our good friend Russell Scott who used to charge $50 to bring pretty much anything out here, and have a great chance to visit with him as we worked together.
He was a great guy!
