Property Transfers

Are you considering purchasing or selling a property on Rattlesnake Island?  We'd like to make sure your transaction goes through smoothly for you whether you are buying your new island property, or selling and moving away.  There are some basic requirements from Rattlesnake Island Association that need to be met to make sure the property transaction goes through without a problem.  

Your real estate agent should manage this process for you.  If you are using one of the lakes region real estate agents, they typically know what is needed for a successful transaction.  If you aren't, here are the steps below to complete your property transfer. Only one form is needed for the transfer.

Instructions: 

  1. Buyer and sellers should fill out and make sure the 'Waiver of Right of First Refusal' is signed by our Duly Authorized Director.  
  2. For Director signature, please forward the form with a self addressed stamped envelope to:  Rattlesnake Island Association, c/o High Tech Machinist Inc., 177 Riverneck Road, Chelmsford, MA 01824.

NOTE: The buyer and seller are responsible to ensure completeness.  Waiver must be filled out 100% or can be rejected by RIA.  

Buyer Info: 

  1. There is a $1500 fee paid by the buyer to Rattlesnake Association.  
  2. Parking Passes, Trailer Tags, and Keys -The seller will not transfer anything to the buyer.  You can get those through RIA after closing. 
  3. When your closing is complete, please contact the association through the contact page to have you added to our database and request any passes, tags, or keys.

Seller Info: 

  1. Return all all parking passes, keys, and trailer tags to RIA: Rattlesnake Island Association, c/o High Tech Machinist Inc., 177 Riverneck Road, Chelmsford, MA 01824. These must be returned before Waiver of Right of First Refusal will be signed.
